A miniature garden is a small planted scene rather than a single plant in a pot. Real plants, gravel and small figures or buildings are arranged in a bowl or a tray so the whole thing reads as a place — a veranda, a courtyard, a corner of somewhere. It sits on a table indoors and needs the same care as the plants in it.

The Plant Edit by Sweta makes miniature gardens to order in Kolkata and delivers across the city. Each one is designed around a particular person or occasion rather than picked off a shelf. We ask for a minimum of 3 days' notice.
Can a miniature garden be personalised?
Yes, and that is usually the point. You choose the plants and the planter, and the scene is built around someone — the miniatures, the colours, a name or a date, and photographs set into the piece if you want them.
