Looking after it

Light: Indirect light. Direct sun scorches the leaves.
Water: Keep the roots covered. Change the water every couple of weeks.

Two versions

Five layers, or eight.

A layer is a tier of stems, tied and trained so each level sits above the one below. More layers means a taller, fuller arrangement — the care is identical either way.

5-layer

The smaller of the two. It sits comfortably on a desk, a shelf or a side table without dominating it, and it is the version most people choose for a colleague, a new office or a first flat.
